The ADB–Japan Scholarship Program (JSP) 2026 offers fully funded opportunities for students from ADB member developing countries to pursue a Master’s degree in top universities across Japan and the Asia-Pacific region. Funded by the Government of Japan and managed by the Asian Development Bank, this prestigious scholarship supports talented individuals who aim to contribute to the development of their home countries.
The scholarship targets students from eligible ADB developing member countries, including Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Mongolia, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, and others.

The ADB–JSP covers all major expenses:
Full tuition fees
Monthly living allowance
Housing allowance
Travel allowance / Airfare
Medical insurance
Books & learning materials
Research & thesis support (if required)
Special grant for computer literacy, if needed.
Each university has different deadlines. Most applications for the 2026 intake open from August 2025 to April 2026.
